AND AGAIN IT IS BALI

After some discussions my girlfriend and I decided to go to Bali again to get out the most surfing-time on our holiday in october.
One month no phone , no stress, just chilling, surfing and good food.

YUX! in Slovenia

After a quite long break of taking photos in summer ( just for info...I work for filmcompanies as a locationscout in summer) andi called me and asked me if I´d like to join a team-trip to Slovenia.
Of cause I was in and drove in mid september to Ljubljana which is the capital of Slovenia.
Accomodation : At the house of Svarun and his family + ten young guys who like to party...
no, it was not that bad and the boys where really polite!
Bad weather forced us to leave the streets and move to an indoor skatepark which was small but had some decent obstackels.
Just the right warmup for the coming nine days.
I found out that Ljubljana is a small mekka for skateboarders. A small city with a lot of good spots just some pushes away from each other. And many friendly people...no hassles at all.
We found some awesome spots to skate and I discovered my old passion again...taking skateboarding pictures.

YUX!

It feels good to chill out a bit after a long season and then find another project to work on.
It´s been a while since I took my last skateboarding picture.
A friend of mine, Andi Fugger, who is running a small but fine skateboard label named YUX! in Austria, asked me to do a photoshooting for their upcoming website.
That was my opportunity to shoot skateboarding again.
In may the whole Yux team gathered in vienna. On the Timetable: two days action, one day studio
It turned out that to shoot twelve people in just five hours was a pretty tough job. But after some beers we had a fun time in the studio.





The other days the other challenge was to get some decent photos...again with twelve guys each with his own preferences. But a good time to find out more about each ones character and style.
